Top 5 Hilarious Comedy Horror

Hey guys, this blog post I am doing a little differently. I haven’t had much free time with work and school but I figured since we are some (horror), movie lovers, it could be fun to recommend instead some of my personal favorite horror comedic films that I have seen. Some I have mentioned before in relation to remakes of films but in a funny way. Also, next week will be different as well because I would like to recommend some classic comedy movies that are an all-around must watch. I’ll explain more on that blog post later.

Scary Movies 1-5 is not so scary as it is funny. Though they seem really stupid at first glance, watching them will get a different reaction. It is obvious that these films were created especially for laughs and that was a mission accomplished. There are certain times where you cringe, specifically, Scary Movie 2 where there was an excessive amount of throw up but regardless, hilarious films. Also, with Scary Movie 6 coming soon in 2021, it should be fun to watch as well, at least that is what I am hoping for.

Zombieland is one of my real favorites because of Tallahassee and his Twinkies obsession. The attitudes that were portrayed in this film, showed that groups can be not as bad as suspected. The first Zombieland, was released in 2009 and let me say, I hated certain people because of the trickery but it gets way better in Zombieland: Double Tap. Trust issues are really put to test in both films but they definitely were able to overcome them, with some inside help or even outside help. You would only understand that if you watch it, hint.

So, I guess there always has to be someone in a movie that makes you angry, comedic horror is no different. Meet The Blacks was first released in 2016 and was a comedy version of the movie, The Purge. Talk about disobedience and a dysfunctional household with actor Mike Epps, nobody listens to one another until it’s almost too late. So many times, there are cutting it close moments but as you can see in the picture above, they all made it out. Solving their own problems was a big help. I see there was talk about a Meet the Blacks part 2, but one can only hope, right?

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, all I can say about this movie is OH MY GOSH. Talk about crazy, this movie is funny but insane. The phrase, “don’t jump to conclusions” applies desperately to this film. Tucker and Dale were on vacation, and I think that was a pun intended because there is a part where a teen jumped over to try to kill someone and it did not end well. This movie is a very must watch film because the amount of stupid and irrationalism is express so easily.

A Haunted House with the hilarious Marlon Wayne’s again. (Plays in Scary Movies too). This movie is way past insane and unexpected. Funny, comical, amusing, entertaining, and crazy are all words I could use to describe the actions that are portrayed in this movie. Just by the little images above, it can honestly be shown that some unnatural shenanigans were going on. I had to save the best for last and it is one of the best funny movies I have seen as well.

All of these films are great and again highly recommended to watch. If anybody needs a good laugh for the time being or needs something to watch, I can always recommend some great movies whether it’s funny horror or just scary. This also brings me to next weeks blog post. Again, I will be doing something new, if that is ok or would you want to stick to just scary horror movies? Let me know, but for next week, I am going to support some of the just comedy movies, nothing scary. I am pretty sure, that they have been seen before, but a good recommendation never turns bad per se.
